Start your day early, work out, and reap immense rewards!

You’ve been in a slump lately. Yet you can’t seem to identify why. You’re eating more, working out less and not waking up on time like you know you should. What’s going on?

Most likely, you’re struggling because you aren’t starting your day with energy and intention. What do I mean? Well, when I was in music school studying to be a classical music performance artist, I couldn’t wait to get out of bed and start my day.

I literally had butterflies in my stomach. The excitement and anticipation of a day full of music led me to jump out of bed every morning and rush to pick up my instrument so I could begin practicing.

If you’ve ever had a passion or desire to achieve something that consumed your every thought, you know what I mean. Most likely, you didn’t even need an alarm to get up. You were up lying in bed dreaming at four am about the day’s upcoming activities.

This is the kind of intentional energy I’m referring to and when properly channeled, it will change your life. So how can we get this kind of energy every day? How can we teach ourselves to be naturally motivated so that we don’t require a herculean effort to get ourselves out of bed every day?
