Follow Your Dreams Now or Be Miserable Later
“You are here now…What are you going to do with your time?”
Freedom. It was so palpable, you could feel its promises in your soul, remember? Freedom to breathe, arms out-stretched, eyes closed, face to the sky with joyous abandon-this was your dream. Nature’s serenity and warmth, her beauty; these would be your jubilant solace. You envisioned yourself wealthy enough to purchase and inhabit your own undiscovered tropical island. There, you would enjoy each day in endless bliss.
But alas, you gave in to the overbearing pressures of life. Work, children, bills…FEAR. You allowed these elements to drain you of ambition through the years. Now, you’re emotionally destitute. You had no idea how close you were to achieving your goal because you stumbled and lost your way. For years, you floundered, searching for yourself; for answers that would lead you back to your mission. Yet, you were unable to see the path forward.
Eventually, you regained your footing. Determined to make up for lost time, you finally applied your mind to your dream and managed some meager success. But the world had moved on. Your business idea had been taken. Your clientele lost faith in you. Your lover fell for someone who wanted to dedicate the time and energy you would not.
