Success Formula: Value + Prolific = $$$
I’ve spent a lot of time debating with myself about writing, questioning myself endlessly. “Can I REALLY do this for a living?”, I’ve always asked, and, “Do people really make money using words to inspire, inform, educate, and entertain people?”
Now, at 33 years old, I’ve come to a consensus within myself. This is not only possible, but likely, provided one creates enough useful content. Tim Denning writes about “the process” he used to amass six figures of income in a year for his writing.
If you’re like me, you’re probably inundated daily with new medium posts or articles from other sources which all claim to give you the game on how to become a more prolific writer or “monetize your writing”.
Many of these are actually pretty helpful. Thing is, Tim’s article is actually realistic. He made me realize that to become a sought after writer you have to provide sought after answers.
This truth can be a bit overwhelming once you become aware of it. You realize, perhaps for the first time, that you really do control your own destiny, or at least, have a MUCH bigger role in orchestrating it than you thought you did.
