Im so glad you wrote this piece man. So many are getting carried away with the idea that AI will destroy writers who refuse to use the technology to help generate their work.

I hate that respect for the art of crafting words has been grossly diminished, and all for fear of being technologically out paced.

I'd like to think that there is more to writing than arriving at a finished product.

What about personal enlightenment? What about the painstaking, yet necessary excavation for deep knowledge?

Only when people take the time to slow down, ponder, and then carefully elucidate their ideas with intention and precision can they stake a claim on useful and applicable knowledge.

It seems to be a personal choice, at this point anyway, whether to use AI. For the sake of humanity, I pray that people never forget that it was the human brain that created AI.
