The Three Business Lessons That Improved My Bottom Line
If others struggle with what comes easily to you, chances are you can provide it as a service and have people pay you for it.
“Guys! We’re almost there! Keep it up!” I yelled at my class. We were nearing the end of our group cardio session. My roster was growing nicely. Minus one class cancellation (due to a day of bad weather), the future of my new pandemic inspired fitness business oozed promise.
And then, one day, I began to lose steam as the reality of what I’d gotten myself into hit me. Bills, business licensing, equipment, marketing and ads…it all became too much. Like a loser, I quit.
#1 Before You Give Up…Don’t!
My mentor tells me that much of his business success has been due to simply being in position when prospective clients come along. This lesson may seem easy to comprehend, and indeed it is.
Getting into position and remaining there is where the challenge lies, however. So often, I’ve stopped pursuing something because I didn’t get the results I wanted fast enough.
And when someone would come along who wanted what I had to offer, I wasn’t in a position to deliver it for them. I remember the regret I felt…
